This explains what we collect when you use betterperformancegear.com, why, and who else sees it.
What we collect
When you order, we collect your name, shipping and billing address, email, and phone number. Your card details go straight to our payment processor and never touch our servers. If you create an account we store your login and order history. Like most sites, our host also records standard technical data such as IP address and browser type.
Why we collect it
To take payment, ship your order, send you updates about it, answer your emails, handle returns, and meet our tax and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
We share what is needed and nothing more:
- Our fulfillment partners. Your name and shipping address go to the warehouse that packs and ships your order. Some of our suppliers are outside the United States, so your delivery details may be processed abroad.
- Our payment processor. They handle the transaction and fraud checks.
- Shipping carriers. So they can deliver the package and give you tracking.
- Our web host and email provider. So the site runs and order emails reach you.
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart working, keep you logged in, and understand which pages people actually use. You can block cookies in your browser, but the cart will stop working properly if you do.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it.
Your choices
Email support@betterperformancegear.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live you may have specific rights, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we will honor them whether or not they technically apply to you. We cannot delete records we are legally required to keep.
Children
This store is not for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
